Fuglsang rideture
Is a small family owned business. We are second and third generation and our love for the icelandic horse makes the foundation of the company!
The riding ranch Fuglsang is located centrally in Eastern Jutland with 20 km distance from the cities Silkeborg, Skanderborg and Horsens, and with only a 30 minute drive from the city of Aarhus.
We have around 30 horses which makes it possible to find a horse fitting for riders of any level of experience.
We are very focused on the riding trips being a good experience for the rider as well as for the horse.
We are using the horses to get closer to the beautiful nature surrounding us.
Whether you are up for a cosy and nice day with the family, a nature experience or a lovely riding trip - Fuglsang is the place for you!
Open hours:
Every day during danish holidays and vacations.
During the rest of the year Fuglsang is open every weekend.
More about the rides:
50 minutes ride, incl. time for getting up and of the horse: 400 dkk.
- This ride is only in walk.
- When with a group of riders of mixed experience the ride will always follow the needs of the least experienced rider.
- Suited for riders of low or zero riding experience.
- Approximately 35 minutes on horseback.
- Max 95 kg. (From 7 years and up)
1,25 hour ride, incl. time for getting up and of the horse: 450 dkk.
- This ride is only in walk.
- When with a group of riders of mixed experience the ride will always follow the needs of the least experienced rider.
- Suited for riders of low or zero riding experience.
- Approximately 35 minutes on horseback.
- Max 95 kg. (From 7 years and up)
2 hours ride, incl. time for getting up and of the horse: 550 dkk.
- This ride includes faster gates: tölt/tror and canter.
- Riding experience needed.
- Approximately 1,5 hours on horseback.
- Max 90 kg
Dayride, saturdays in the time approximated time interval: 9-16. Ride to the historical bridge "Den genfundne bro" or "Gl. Rye teltplads": 1200 dkk. plus 150 dkk. for required riding pass for the forrest.
- This ride includes faster gates: tölt/trot and canter.
- Only for experienced riders!
- Approximately 4 hours on horseback.
- Max 85 kg
MINIMUM a group of 6 people. Contact: + 45 20 28 46 48 for booking, at least 1 month before desired ride.
Rent a horse for walking with child. 1 hour: 300 dkk.
-Parents or guardians walk with the horse.
-Fuglsang prepares the horse with saddle so that it will be ready for a nice walk in the forrest!
-Only for smaller children of maximum nine years age.
For all rides apply:
-We have helmets for everyone.
-We prepare the horses for you.
-The only thing you have to do is show up, get on the horse and enjoy the ride!
-If desired helping with the handling and preparation of the horses before and after the ride is also possible.
Daily rides:
- 10.00: 1,25 hour ride for unexperienced riders
- 11.00: 1,25 hour ride for unexperienced riders
- 14.00: 2 hour ride for experienced riders
- 16.00: 50 minutes ride for unexperienced riders
